Ultion WXM has extra molybdenum, the metal that is 25% denser than iron, integrated within its design.

Brisant-Secure redesigned and improved the materials used to increase the strength and durability that Ultion brings.

The BS EN1303 test requires standard 3 Star locks to achieve 100,000 cycles.  If the lock and key meet the required 100,000 cycles, it can be sold in the UK with this accreditation.  Ultion WXM is still going strong at 500,000 cycles.  It’s the extra molybdenum that is keeping it going strong.

Brisant-Secure has purposefully created a lock that is at the top of its game for quality, durability and performance.  Surviving under duress is the key reason a homeowner chooses a lock.  It has to work with all sorts of doors and resist every burglar attack.  Research has shown that over 85% of door buyers say security is the most important factor when buying a door and they’re prepared to pay for high performance and build quality.

In Ultion WXM the two-part plug has increased engagement with the new curved cap and this section is moulded from molybdenum. This is then coupled with the thicker WXM key.  Improved drill protection is delivered with 20 anti-drill points and the core shielded with a new molybdenum plug. Lockdown Mode becomes Double Lockdown Mode.

Ultion’s £1,000 security guarantee continues to give the homeowner confidence that the door they buy will fulfil the most important factor: keeping the bad guys out.

Nick Dutton, CEO of Brisant-Secure said: ‘We were determined to make Ultion WXM even more durable. At 500,000 cycles and still going, we know we have achieved this. Who knows how far it might go though?’

Security is the driving force behind Brisant-Secure’s production of Ultion WXM.  It has already proven to be the UK’s strongest lock.
