½¢¾±ÅŸ±ð³¦²¹³¾, a global player in the glass and chemicals industries, having an expansive network of 45 production facilities spanning across 14 countries, reaffirms its steadfast commitment to sustainability, innovation, and technological advancement within its production strategy. ½¢¾±ÅŸ±ð³¦²¹³¾ announces the appointment of Beytullah Åžahin as its Chief Production Officer to execute its ambitious production strategy and plans.

A cornerstone of ½¢¾±ÅŸ±ð³¦²¹³¾â€™s production agenda is the empowerment of a technology-centric framework, marked by efficiency-driven initiatives such as waste heat conversion and the implementation of digital twin technologies. ½¢¾±ÅŸ±ð³¦²¹³¾â€™s strategic blueprint includes developing regional strategies that align production and sales with dynamic trade trends, as well as a comprehensive modernization drive aimed at optimizing costs.

½¢¾±ÅŸ±ð³¦²¹³¾ focuses on alternative energy sources and sustainable raw material utilization. Additionally, the Company prioritizes the integration of artificial intelligence-backed, data-driven decision-making mechanisms in production processes. These initiatives underscore ½¢¾±ÅŸ±ð³¦²¹³¾'s commitment to pioneering sustainable practices and cutting-edge technologies in its operations.

Beytullah Åžahin graduated from Akdeniz University, Department of Mining Engineering in 1995. From 1996 to 1998, he worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Mineral Processing and Beneficiation at Middle East Technical University. He obtained his master's degree in the same field. He completed various executive training programs including Leadership Academy Baltas, Stanford University Strategic Marketing, and INSEAD Executive Leadership Program. Beytullah Åžahin started his professional career at ½¢¾±ÅŸ±ð³¦²¹³¾ and took key positions as Operations Engineer, Purchasing and Material Planning Chief, Material Management and Production Planning Manager across the globe. Notable among these roles are his General Manager positions at Trakya Glass Rus AO Russia Flat Glass Plant in 2012 and later at ½¢¾±ÅŸ±ð³¦²¹³¾ Flat Glass Italy S.R.L. Northern Italy Flat Glass Plant in 2017. He also managed the commissioning and integration of ½¢¾±ÅŸ±ð³¦²¹³¾ Flat Glass South Italy S.R.L. Southern Italy Flat Glass Plant. Beytullah Åžahin was appointed as Senior Production Director of Architectural Glass in 2021 and Senior Production Director of European Operations in 2022.  Effective March 1, 2024, Beytullah Åžahin assumes the role of Chief Production Officer at ½¢¾±ÅŸ±ð³¦²¹³¾.
